I will have 2 new paintings in this one-night-only event curated by GOB Magazine. The event will be held this Friday (July 3rd) starting at 7:00 pm at DDR Projects in Long Beach. I will have 2 new paintings (and 3 of my Mother's Day paintings) in the "Just Because" show at C.A.V.E. Gallery this weekend. The show runs from Friday, July 3rd - July 25th. A couple of weekends ago I went back to Los Angeles (my old stomping ground) for the wedding of my dear friend Kelly. It was an amazing and beautiful wedding and you could just feel the love in the air. The way they looked at each other...really beautiful. This painting was my wedding gift to them.

Congratulations to Kelly & Peter!!! I am sooooooo happy for both of you.

My Prints at SCOUT

I am pleased to announce that my prints are now being sold at SCOUT in Louisville, KY. The store looks very cool from the website. I might just have to stop in on our way to Ohio one of these days. If you live in that area you should check it out.

We're having a wonderful Father's Day so far. Sam and I woke up early (well, Sam woke up early) and we walked to the store to get breakfast stuff and we cooked Ian a big breakfast. I'm feeling very fortunate to have such a great husband who is an amazing father. Sam will turn 2 in a couple of weeks and the time is flying by. Thought I'd share some pics...

Goodbye, Ten Women!

The day I hung my work at Ten Women back in 2005

The time has come to say goodbye to the my first gallery...Ten Women Gallery in Venice, CA. Because it's a co-op gallery it has become too difficult for me to manage my space from Asheville so I gave notice a month ago and my work will not be shown there anymore. Being a part of Ten Women was an amazing experience. I got to experiment with new work and different price points which was invaluable. And, most importantly, I got to meet some amazing artists and friends...especially Cathy Nichols, Outi Harma and Marisa Haedike. I really miss the days when the four of us used to go out to dinner at a local Thai place after the monthly meetings. Oh, those were the days...

Thank you, Ten Women! And thank you to Cathy, Outi and Marisa for always being there for me.
