Freebie Thursday!

This month kind of got away from me and I didn't realize that the last Friday of the month was last week. So...today is Freebie Thursday!! Buy one print (excluding limited edition prints & originals) in my Etsy shop and get a 2nd one free. This includes the newly listed Mother's Day Prints. I will send them out within one day to make sure you get the prints before Mother's Day.

Just convo me or put in your "message to seller" the name of the free 2nd print that you want and I will send them both together.

Happy Freebie Thursday!

Artists Who Blog Interview

I am proud to be the featured artist this month on Artists Who Blog. Thanks so much to Stephanie Levy for interviewing me and for the post. I really appreciate it.

My husband's family is in town from Boston and Vermont so we spent the day by their pool watching all the kids play. So much fun. Sam was exhausted by the time we got home and so are we.

Gotta get some work done.

Well, I wanted to get 10 paintings finished for Mother's Day and I did! Finished the last one late last night. Whew! This was a lot of work and I realized (again) that I work much better when I have a deadline. Of course I am much more stressed but I do get a lot more work done. I was going to post them on Monday but since I finished them all I thought... why not? Now I can relax and have a beer tonight while watching Grey's Anatomy.

Ian's family is coming this weekend too so I didn't want to be thinking about work the whole week. Feels so good to get this done. Yay!

Have a good weekend (saying that now because I doubt if I'll post anything tomorrow).

All of these paintings are available at my shop. Prints are also available here.

Work in Progress

Yesterday my dear friend Outi asked about my BIG painting that I'm doing for our dining room. I mentioned it in a previous post. Well, here is what I've got so far. It's unfinished but I'm afraid that now that it's actually hung on the wall I'll never get around to finishing it. We'll see.

Still busily working on some Mother's Day goodies that will hopefully be posted on Monday the 27th. Stay tuned.

Today is gorgeous but I just spent well over an hour at the DMV (always fun) getting our car registered in North Carolina. We are officially residents of NC now. That was the last thing to do. Feels good.

By the way, thank you SO much to everyone who wrote about my Urban Outfitters gig. That's the first time I hit double digits on the comments! Thanks so much for the support. Makes me very happy.

My Work is at Urban Outfitters!

Very exciting news...my work can now be found at Urban Outfitters! They licensed the rights to "joone", "ebb" and "the arrival" for wall art a few months ago and they are now available online. These are giclee prints stretched on canvas. Click here to see "joone" and here to see "ebb". I don't see "the arrival" on their site yet but maybe that one will only be available in stores. They should be in stores by the end of this month.

Unfortunately, we don't have an Urban Outfitters in Asheville so I'll have to wait until we go to Cincy in May to check them out. Yay! So exciting. I love this store!

Daily Drawing - "three" & "all I need"

Rowe, Me, Sammy & Mel

"three"

"all I need"

As I write this my son has literally been eating dinner for an hour and a half. He won't stop eating. We're 10 minutes from his bedtime and he hasn't had a bath or anything. We're now just giving him bread in attempt to fill him up. What's happening?

Anyway, I took a couple of days off to hang with my dear friends Mel and Rowe in from LA and Miami. We had such a good time. It's SO nice to have friends that, no matter how often you see them, you just pick up where you left off. Yesterday we took a nice stroll downtown and sat outside drinking beer and people watching. Last night we went out to dinner and had a blast. Sam was very fond of both of them. He even gave them goodnight kisses.

I'm posting 2 daily drawings because I didn't post one yesterday. Also, I want to let everyone know that I have to postpone the daily drawings for a while. I am busily working on some Mother's Day goodies (to be posted at the end of the month) and have committed to 2 gallery shows coming up. So, I have spread myself a little too thin. But I hope to return to the drawings someday. I loved doing it and having something to post every day. But I'll keep posting...

Have a great weekend!!

Oh, yea...both drawings are available at my Etsy shop.
